Larry Hall

Larry Lee Hall, 87, of Abilene went to be with our Lord Jesus Christ on Wednesday, March 1, 2017. Visitation will be 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM, Saturday, March 4, 2017 at Elmwood Funeral Home, 5750 Hwy 77 South. Graveside service will follow at 2:00 PM Saturday, March 4, 2017 at Elmwood Memorial Park.

Larry was born May 4, 1929 in Los Angeles, California to Lawrence and Lena Hall. He served in the United States Air Force for 20 plus years, receiving 2 purple hearts and retired as an E-6. Larry married the love of his life, Edna and became a great provider for their family. Larry had an infectious smile, a strong presence and could be found picking at the ones he loved. He loved a great game of solitaire and had a heart for Animals. He was the #1 plick and best Daddy ever. He will be missed.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Edna Hall ; granddaughter, Brittany Henley; great grandsons, Bentley and Layton Green; brother, Darrel Hall; sister, Janet Hall; and parents, Lawrence and Lena Hall.

He is survived by his children, Larry Lee Hall Jr, Gloria Dianne Hall Butler, and Colene Sue Hall Vickery; his devoted grandchildren are Monica Hall Sterling, Larry Hall, David Hall, Kathalina Whitney Cowdell, Eric Whitney, Patrick Whitney, Brittany Henley, Donny Skiles; and 16 great grandchildren.
