Laura Snowder

Laura Snowder, 99, went to be with her Lord and Savior on March 14, 2014, at the Northern Oaks Living Center. Laura was born in Ponotoc County, Ok, on Oct. 5, 1914 to William and Charlotte Bevers.
She was one of seven brothers and sisters who preceded her in death. Her beloved husband, Arthur two sons, Robert and Glenn grandson, Craig Kasprak also preceded her in death.
Laura is survived by her daughters, Margaret Kasprak and Phyllis Bradberry granddaughter, Debra Lynn grandson, Todd Kasprak greatgrandson, Michael Lynn sisterinlaw, Dee Bevers and many nieces and nephews.
Arthur and Laura were members of the Oakland Drive Church of Christ for many years. Laura worked for the Timex Corp. from 1958 until they closed. She loved her job and the friends she made there. Many of her friends and loved ones have gone before her. May they all be there to greet her in the land beyond the shining river.
Funeral service will be held in the chapel at Elmwood Funeral Home, 5750 Hwy 277 South, Abilene, TX, at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, March 19, 2014. There will be a visitation Tuesday, March 18, 2014 from 6:008:00 PM at Elmwood Funeral Home.
