Lee Lanford

Lee Andrew Lanford "Andy", 51, of Abilene, passed away Monday. Visitation will be 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Friday, July 14, 2017 at Elmwood Funeral Home, 5750 Hwy 277 South. His funeral service will be 10:00 AM Saturday, July 15, 2017 in the Elmwood Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow the service in Elmwood Memorial Park.

Andy was born May 26, 1966 in Abilene, Texas to James and Norma Lanford. He participated in cub scouts as a child. He was an Abilene High School graduate, class of 1984. He was involved with High School Reunions. The friends he made, were his friends for life. He was a huge fan of the Texas Rangers and Dallas Cowboys. He also loved to fish. Andy was sarcastic and witty but very caring, generous and always looking out for others. He loved spending time with his son Slaton and taking him to feed the ducks. He did anything he could and would for his children Karen, Kelly and Slaton. He was a wonderful father, son, brother, uncle and friend, he will be dearly missed.

He will be welcomed with open arms by those that have preceded him in death, mother, Norma; daughter, Karen Diane; and brother, Stephen.

Andy is survived by his dad, James Moritz Lanford; brother, Chris Lanford and wife Kim; Lee Ann Hawkins - Snelling and husband Terry; children, Kelly Lanford and Slaton Lanford; two nephews, Jamie and Miles Lanford; and one niece, Amanda Lanford.
