She moved to the Abilene area in the 1950's where she met and married the love of her life, Abran Rivera. She worked as a seamstress sewing military uniforms at a local factory for many years. Later in her life she dedicated herself to caring for everyone's most precious possessions, our beautiful children. Leonor was employed at a local Daycare where the children absolutely loved her. When her own grandchildren arrived, she filled in the gap to care for them and many other children that came into her life that simply knew her as Nanny, their granny.
