Graveside memorial services for the family will be held on December 14, 2024 at Elmwood Memorial Park in Abilene, Texas. Pastor Cliff Stewart of First Central Presbyterian Church in Abilene, Texas will officiate.

Leslie Neal Oldham was born in Olney, Texas on March 15, 1949 to Talmadge O'Neal Oldham and Loudelle Cummings. Les attended Hardin Simmons University on a full basketball scholarship and graduated with a BBA in 1971. He served as Executive Vice President of Matco Trucking after graduating from Hardin Simmons and joining Matco. In 2001 he founded Tel-IS a telecommunications company which was a full service technology provider as President and CEO. In 2009 the company was transitioned into Alpha Omega which closed with Les's retirement in 2023.

Les loved taking care of the Hedrick Ranch in Buffalo Gap which had belonged to his wife Jeannie's family for several generations. He loved to hunt and have friends and family out for hunting and cook outs at the historic ranch house. He especially enjoyed introducing the ranch to his two young grandsons, Christian and Garrison, and taught them to love it as well. He was a dedicated overseer of the ranch and loved working with the cattle leasing and land management of the Hedrick Ranch for many years.

Les was preceded in death by his parents T.O. and Loudelle Oldham and his beloved brother Harry Oldham. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Jeannie Harper Oldham, a stepdaughter Leigh Cockrell Hermes, a stepson David Austin Cockrell and two grandsons Christian Austin Cockrell and Garrison Ford Cockrell.
