Linda Fields Bramlet, 68, passed away Wednesday, January 4, 2012 in Abilene. Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, January 7th in the Elmwood Funeral Home Chapel, 5750 HWY 277 South with interment following in Elmwood Memorial Park.
Linda was born on November 22, 1943 in Pecos, Texas the daughter of Sam Davis Fields and Elizabeth Fern Warren Fields. She graduated from Abilene High in 1962 and married her high school sweetheart Jimmy Neal Bramlet on July 22, 1962. Linda worked for over 20 wonderful years at Southwest Air Conditioning and Heating. She was a member of Broadview Baptist Church.
Linda had a boundless amount of energy and was always on the go. She enjoyed traveling and was an avid shopper. She loved her family deeply and her grandchildren were the light of her life.
Survivors include her sons, Chad Bramlet and wife Stacy of Abilene and Shea Bramlet and wife Stefanie of Littlefield grandchildren, Chance, Cheyenne, Cole and wife Teresa, Cade and Camryn Bramlet and Josh March her great granddaughter, Avery sister, Sandra Sissy Thompson and companion J.B. Denson of Abilene her motherinlaw, Kathleen Bramlet of Abilene sistersinlaw, Sue Moore and husband Terry and Karen Lewis and husband David all of Abilene and numerous nieces, nephews and lifelong friends.
Her parents, her brotherinlaw, Gene Thompson and her husband, Jim preceded her in death.
Memorial donations are suggested to Broadview Baptist Church, 2500 S. 27th, Abilene, TX 79605.
