Linda Edwards

Linda Sue Edwards, 62, passed away on Monday, February 27, 2017 in Ft Worth, TX. Visitation for friends and family will be held on Friday, March 3, 2017 from 6 PM to 8 PM in the Elmwood Funeral Home Chapel, 5750 US Highway 277 South. Funeral service will be Saturday, March 4, 2017 at 10 AM located at Elmwood Funeral Home.

She was born in Bryan, TX on November 2, 1954 to Dellie and Christine Scroggins. She graduated high school and later worked as a retail manager. She retired from Army and Air Force Exchange Service (AAFES) after 29 years. Linda married her sweetheart and the love of her life, Alvie "Bob Edwards in 1972.

Linda enjoyed bowling, camping, quilting, and playing slot machines. She also admired the beautiful mountain views in the west.

She is survived by her parents, Dellie and Christine Scroggins; husband, Bob Edwards; daughter, Sondra Kress; grand-daughters, Taylor Kress, Madison Kress and Bailey Kress; two sisters, Joyce Campbell and Della Waltrip.
