Linda Evans

Linda Joy Evans, 63, of Abilene passed away Wednesday December 24, 2014 in Georgetown, TX.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday December 30 at 10: AM at Victory Baptist Church in Abilene. Burial will follow at Texas State Veterans Cemetery at Abilene. Visitation will be held Monday from 5 to 7 PM at Elmwood Funeral Home.

Linda was born on April 10, 1951 to the late Willie Royce Hardy Sr. and Wilma Joy Nichols in Munday, Texas. She was a graduate of Merkel High School and worked many years at A.C.C. in the school book depository. Linda was married to Harold Evans who preceded her in death on October 25, 2013. She was a member of Victory Baptist Church and had been working at drug emporium for many years.

Linda is survived by her brother, Willie Royce Hardy, Jr and wife Frances of Kissimmee, FL aunt, Lou Etta Cox of Georgetown, TX uncle Bobby Charles Hardy and wife Nancy of Abilene niece, Pamela Frisby great niece, Nicole and great nephew Matthew Frisby of Ocoee, FL, many cousins and dear friends.
