Linda Moody

Linda Joyce Claxton Moody, 66, passed away on Tuesday, January 22, 2013. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, January 25, 2013, at First Baptist Church, 213 East 3rd St, Sweetwater, TX. Visitation for family and friends will be from 1:00 PM until service time. Burial will follow in the Sweetwater City Cemetery.

Lynn was born on November 19, 1946, in Loraine, TX to parents Clarence Audavee and Gwendell Mildred Yarbrough Claxton. She enjoyed fishing and camping. She loved British comedies and old western classics, almost as much as she loved a big glass of iced tea. Lynn had a sweet, loving nature and enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandson, Kallen.

Lynn is survived by her 3 children, Todd Moody of Sweetwater, DeAnna Thomas and husband Christopher of Sweetwater, and Jody Moody and wife Ashton of Longworth her grandchildren, Adrianna Valdez, and Kallen Moody her 2 sisters, Sandy Piercy and husband Tim of Sweetwater, and Elaine Kelly and husband Tom of Cameron, numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her brother, Ronald Wayne Claxton.

Pallbearers for the service will be Cris Winn, Charles Thomas, Calvin Thomas, Eric Craver, Cody Claxton, and Casey Terry.
