Lottie Scott

Lottie Elizabeth Scott died September 21, 2010, at the age of 81. Mrs. Scott was born on December 30, 1928, the daughter of Leslie Earnest South, Sr. and Addie Viola Ayers South. Lottie Married Carl Lathen Scott January 9, 1946. Mr. Scott died March 18, 1997. She was also preceded in death by her parents, a son, Merriell L. Scott, and a brother, Leslie Earnest South, Jr.
Mrs. Scott is survived by brother, Johnnie W. South of Wichita Falls, three sons, Earnest W. Scott and wife, Sandy Grady L. Scott and wife, Bonnie Jerry D. Scott and wife Donna, all of Abilene and a daughter, Frances J. Scott Rappard and husband Charles, of Overbrook, KS eleven grandchildren, and nine greatgrandchildren.
Mrs. Scott worked at Abilene State School for many years where she enjoyed caring for residents.
Services will be 10:00 AM, Thursday, September 23, 2010 at Elmwood Funeral Home Chapel, 5750 Hwy 277 South, officiated by Family Minister, Dr. B. J. McMichael, with interment following at Elmwood Memorial Park. Visitation for family and friends will be from 7:00 9:00 PM, Thursday, September 22, 2010 at Elmwood Funeral Home.
