Molly Lucille Graham Ritter Raymond Stovall, age 96, formerly of Abilene, went home to be with our Lord Jesus on January 15, 2015.
Funeral services will be held at Elmwood Funeral Home Chapel, 5750 HWY 277 South in Abilene, Texas Monday, January 19 at 1:00 p.m. followed by interment at Bethel Cemetery (Funston). Visitation will be Sunday, January 18 from 6:00-7:30 p.m. at the Elmwood Funeral Home.
Lou was born in Lueders, Texas on July 11, 1918 to Morgan Steele Graham and Emma Brown Graham. Lou married J.E. Virgil (Jack) Ritter February 15, 1934. Lou and Jack Ritter moved from Dallas to Anson in 1955 to raise their daughters Linda and Barbara. As members of First Baptist Church Lou was active as WMU Director, Sunday School teacher, and in community activities. In the late 1970s the Ritters moved to Abilene. After Jack's death, Lou remained an active member of Elmcrest Baptist Church as well as the Abilene Garden Club. She married Dr. Dick Raymond, a long-time Abilene dentist. After his death, Lou married Marvin Stovall.
She is survived by two daughters and son-in-laws; Linda and Richard Light and Dr. Barbara and Ronnie Coan; five grandchildren Laurie Barraza, Deborah Brungardt, Marlena Jones, Christopher and Patrick Coan; four great-grandchildren Oscar and Noah Barraza, Katelyn and Kylee Haynie, Sister-in-law Katherine (Kitty) Atkins, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by husbands J.E. Virgil (Jack) Ritter, Dr. Dick Raymond, and Marvin Stovall; brothers Don, Brown, Philip (Pete) Graham, half-brothers Tom and Clyde Graham; sister Modell (Cricket) Mitchell; and half-sister Lena Starks.
