Loyd Reeves

Loyd Earl Reeves, 68, passed away Monday, June 27, 2009 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. His funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, June 31 in the Elmwood Funeral Home Chapel, 5750 HWY 277 South with burial following in Elmwood Memorial Park.

Loyd was born on December 31, 1940 in Dexter, New Mexico one of 13 children born to Joseph Bailey Reeves and Virgie Bell Johnson Reeves. He was a truck driver for 47 years.

Survivors include his wife Carolyn Wallace Reeves of Hawley; six children, Jimmy Earl Reeves of Colorado, Melody Joyce Jones of California, Tammy Marie Mounts of Kansas, Carolynn Bellani Reeves of Hawaii, Rodney Allen Reeves of Washington, and Yolanda Cecilia Reeves of California; a step-son, Ron Hale of Abilene; three brothers, Carl, Clyde and Robert Reeves; one sister, Nadine; a sister-in-law, Carolyn Reeves and numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

His step-son, Gary Hale 6 brothers and 3 sisters preceded him in death
