Lucilee Grimes McCoy Inabinet Edgar went home to be with her Lord on October 12, 2014.

A graveside service will be held Saturday October 18, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Elmwood Memorial Park.

A memorial service will be held Friday in Odessa at 10:00 AM at Asbury United Methodist Church.

She was born February 14, 1922, at home to LA Grimes Abilene City Water Superintendent and Lois Blair Grimes. Lucilee was an outstanding athlete in high school and college, including softball, swimming and tennis. A graduate of McMurry College and Hardin Simmons University, she worked as an educator for 35 years. After retirement she gave herself away as she volunteered with: Meals on Wheels, Medical Center Hospital Auxiliary, teaching a Sunday School Class and Ector County Hospital. She was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church and sang in the choir. She was also a member and past president of Kappa Kappa IotaAlpha X.

Above all, she was a loving mother and an amazing grandmother and great grandmother. She will be greatly missed.

She is preceded in death by husbands, WC McCoy, L.A. Inabinet, and L. Edgar, as well as her sister, Jenny V Goodman, brother, Lewis Grimes, and parents, Alex and Lois Grimes.

She is survived by her sons, William Carson McCoy and James L McCoy, also stepdaughter, Virginia Jones, spouses, Denise McCoy, Gloria McCoy and Monty Jones grandchildren: James McCoy Jr. and wife Kareena, Jennifer McCoy and husband Owen, Layla Kosich and husband Stephen, Justin McCoy, Julie Jones and John Jones greatgrandchildren, Samuel Eskew, Benjamin Eskew, Timothy Eskew, Zebedee Eskew, Carson Kosich, Conner Kosich, Luke McCoy, and Hope McCoy.
