Lyle Ramsey

November 1, 1930 — December 19, 2024

Lyle Marlene Ramsey (11-1-30 – 12-19-24) made her transition at the age of 94. She was a beautiful soul who blossomed once she left High School in Verden, Oklahoma. Geology fascinated her while at the University of Oklahoma in Norman after which she worked for Shell Oil for a short time before she moved to Ramsey Petroleum Co. and married the President. She worked at The Red Cross in both Oklahoma City and at Fort Ord, when she moved to Carmel, California, and became a member of the Foreign Affairs Committee entertaining foreign dignitaries at Pebble Beach. Next she found her adventure in Santa Fe, New Mexico, where she was a long-time member of the famous Los Alamos Stitch & Bitch Club.

Over 50 years in Albuquerque, her art talents brought beautiful pastel expressions of her Delaware Indian heritage, which she explored extensively while living in New Mexico. At this time she found her soul’s calling through The New Thoughtform Presentation Of The Ancient Wisdom Teachings, and a new perspective on life opened to her where she spent several decades learning all she could (and trying to get her teenage son involved!) all the while continuing her Art. Scottsdale was her next stop, where life was good. She had a few health issues and was near Mayo Clinic in Arizona for those. She then allowed her son (I know not why!) to move her to Buffalo Gap, Texas (she laughed at this more times than I can count), along with his wife, Toni. “Verden had about 2,000 people when I was born…Buffalo Gap has 547! I think I’m going in the wrong direction, Jeff!”

She had her incredible sense of humor (and a chocolate malt) up until the end. She is already missed greatly by many on many levels. Our Love is with you, dearest one, until we meet again.

Lyle is survived by her only son, Jeff Kent Ramsey, his wife, Antoinette Ramsey, her brother, Frank Gerard Osborne, his wife, Suzzane Osborne, niece Darlene Osborne Grace, Step-Children Arthur Benjamin Ramsey, Jr., his wife Anne Ramsey, David Walter Ramsey, his wife Susan Ramsey; Step-Grandchildren Allana Ramsey Waggoner, Alexandra Ramsey Anderson, Douglas Ramsey, Elizabeth Ramsey Bell.

Lyle specifically requested NO Services. She was cremated and will be placed to rest with her husband, Arthur, in Santa Fe, NM, during the Spring when life turns green again.
