Bishop Mack Moye was born on December 31, 1941 in Houston, TX to his mother, Emma Jean Lowery and father, Mack Moye, Sr. He moved to Abilene at a young age and was raised by his Aunt Annie Sneed. He attended King Solomon Baptist Church and graduated from Woodson High School in 1961. He welcomed a son, Michael "Mack" Thompson on November 11, 1961. He married the love of his life, Mrs. Charles Etta Moye on June 8, 1963. The couple welcomed their son Forrest Moye on June 4, 1969 and their daughter, Haley White on March 2, 1976.

Bishop Mack Moye received his calling to preach and be a minister in the 1980s. During the course of his life, he was also ordained as a pastor and a bishop. He served as the Assistant Pastor of Faith Deliverance under the leadership of Pastor Jerry Jordan. He was the pastor of Emmanuel Community Church. He loved serving the Lord and he loved helping people. He was also an avid car enthusiast that never "met a stranger". He was a very hard-working man as he worked for the Union Pacific Railroad for thirty-three and a half years. After retiring from the railroad, he accepted a position at the Department of Public Safety.

He was a loving son, brother, husband, and father. His love for the Lord was evident in the life that he lived and the lives that he touched. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mrs. Emma Jean Stubblefield, his father, Elder Mack Moye Sr., his brother Patrick Hubert, his sister Anna Pierce, and his son Michael Thompson. He leaves to honor and cherish his memory, his wife, Charles Etta Moye, his son, Forrest Moye, his daughter, Beverly Thompson (Mack Thompson), Haley White (Michael White), his brother, Raymond Lowery, his grandchildren: Mychael Thompson, Kimberlyn Moye, Nia White, and Michael White and great grandchild Aryana, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and his lifelong coworkers, church members and friends.
