Ronald "Ronnie" Gene Davis, 81, passed away on January 29, 2017 at Brookdale Parmer Lane in Austin, TX.

Ron was born the son of Jot and Irene (Goddard) Davis on July 5, 1935 in Chelsea Oklahoma. He married Oneta Kaylene "Kay" Davis on May 26, 1955, in Duncan, Oklahoma. He moved to Abilene in 1963 with his family and retired from the U.S. Air Force in 1975. He then worked for Sun Oil (Texas & Pacific Oil) until 1991.
He is preceded in death by his wife, parents, and two siblings; Leslie Davis and Katherine Davis Seal.

Survivors include a daughter; Ronna Kay O'Kane and husband Casey of Round Rock, TX; and sons Randall Davis and wife Teri of Cedar Creek, TX and Mickey Davis and wife Liz, of Austin. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Graveside funeral service will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, February 4, 2017 at Elmwood Memorial Park; 5750 US HWY 277, Abilene, TX.
