Manuel Flores

Manuel Camargo Flores, Jr., 64, passed away with his family by his side Sunday, May 2, 2021. A visitation will be held 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM on Monday, May 10, 2021 in the Elmwood Funeral Home Chapel, 5750 Hwy 277 South. A funeral service will held 2:00 PM on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 in Elmwood Funeral Home Chapel.
Manuel was born January 22, 1957 in Brady, Texas to Manuel Sr. and Irene Flores. He married the love of his life Amada Caballero and the couple shared many years and wonderful memories. Manuel worked for and retired from USG. He was a carpenter and could often be found being a Mr. Fix It. Manuel had a heart of gold and would help anyone in need. He was a wonderful Husband, an amazing Father, and the Best Grandfather anyone could ever ask for. He was very loved and will forever be missed.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Manuel Flores Sr. and Irene Alcorta.
Manuel is survived by his wife, Amada Flores; his children, Gloria Ceballos and her husband Mike, and Robert Garcia; his grandchildren, Sylas Garcia, Haily Elizondo, Eric Elizondo, Gavin Ceballos, Anna, Blain, Erica, and Noe Munez; eight great grandchildren; his siblings, Gloria Vega, Carmen Valdez and her husband Jerry, Mike Flores and his wife Slyvia, Raul Flores and his wife Julia, Daniel Flores and his wife Minerva, and Gabriel Flores and his wife Maria; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
