Marco Scavella

Marco Sacavella, 43, went to be with the Lord, Friday, May 4, 2012. A memorial service will be held at 7 PM, Monday, May 14, 2012 in the Elmwood Funeral Home Chapel, 5750 Hwy 277 South.
Marco was born July 3, 1968 in Dallas, TX to Willie and Sherry Scavella. Those who knew Marco well knew of his love for his Savior and his enjoyment of seeing Gods creative works in nature. Dogs were his favorite animal, especially his dog Missy. He never met a dog that he didnt like or that didnt like him. His artistic abilities were showcased in his drawings and painting, never having any formal training, it was truly a gift from the Lord. Music that gave honor to his Redeemer was often heard coming from his home or his truck, usually at a volume that would let you know exactly what he believed. He was a soldier for Christ and was not ashamed. Teaching the Word of God in various places it was his desire to share the truth of Gods Redemptive plan thru the Cross of Jesus Christ and encouraging others in the relationship that the Lord desired to have with them. Marcos smile would light up a room and his laughter would set the room rocking. As he allowed the Lord to us him he became all that we know him to be, a true friend and brother. He will be missed but not forgotten.
