Maria Cavazos

Maria Anita Cavazos went to be with our Lord and Savior on April 5, 2015 at the age of 58. Funeral service will be 3:00 PM, Friday, April 10, 2015 in the Elmwood Funeral Home Chapel, 5750 Hwy 277 South.

Maria was born to Vidal and Elida Cavazos on June 16, 1956 in Three Rivers, TX. The family came to settle in Lamesa, TX where she attended school and later married. Maria had seven children who she loved equally without measure and many family and friends that were more like sisters and brothers.

She is survived by her children, Maricela Grimaldo and husband Ramiro, of Temple, TX, Santos Uvalle IV and wife Sonia, of Odessa, TX, Isaac Uvalle and wife Flor, of Andrews, TX, Israel Uvalle, of Andrews, TX, Michelle Uvalle, of Lamesa, TX, Nathaniel Villarreal, of Andrews, TX, Analiah Estrada, of Andrews, TX; her grandchildren, Giovanni, Chris, Ramiro II, Jelane, Asael, Yaretzi, Santos V, Kaitlyn, Krystal, Vanessa, Samantha, McKayla, Jordon, Samantha, Jinger, Patience, Odalis, Alexander, Brittany, Aden, Ziaha, Jenasis, Ameerah, Ariah, Larissa, Daniel, Gabriel, Kaliyah; her father, Vidal Cavazos; her sister, Rubi Villarreal, of Abilene; her brother, Vidal Cavazos Jr. and wife Melanie, of Midland.

Maria was preceded in death by her mother, Elida J. Cavazos.
