Maria Garcia

Maria Elena Nana Garcia, 64, died Sunday, April 6, 2008 in Abilene. Her memorial service will be held at 6:00 PM on Thursday, April 10, 2008 at the Faith Harvest Penecostal Church in Sweetwater. Arrangements are with Elmwood Funeral Home, 5750 HWY 277 South in Abilene. Ms. Garcia was born in a wagon near Compos, Texas on September 19, 1943 the daughter of Fostino Garcia and Florinda Rangel Garcia. She was a homemaker and worked as a Nanny for Dr. Shannon Holloway for over 20 years. She was a precious daughter of God who never married or had children of her own but in her heart, had two sons in her nephews, Steven Acebedo of Merkel and Edward Acebedo of Sweetwater. She is survived by her nephews, 5 brothers, and 2 sisters. Her parents, 2 brothers and 1 sister preceded her in death.
