Maria Johnson

Maria Cidelia Johnson, 86, of Abilene passed away Wednesday, August 12, 2015 in Abilene.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, August 18, 2015 at Elmwood Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Elmwood Memorial Park. Visitation with the family will be Sunday from 3:00 to 5:00 at the funeral home.

Maria was born on September 24, 1928 in Chimayo, New Mexico to the late Nemiceo Martinez and Selsa Deaguero. She married Henry Robert Johnson Jr. He preceded her in death on February 10, 2010. Maria worked as a housewife and dearly loved her family.

Maria was survived by her children, Robert Lloyd Johnson and wife Karen of the Netherlands, Daniel Wayne Johnson of Abilene, Sandra Marie Delegatti and husband Paul of Tucson, AZ, John Raymond Johnson and wife Lori of Colorado Springs, CO, Janet Suzanna Sanchez and husband Jerry of Dallas; grandchildren, Niccole Johnson, Henry Johnson, Catie Johnson, Danielle Johnson, Mathew Johnson, Esther Johnson, Nathan Dalo, Andrew Johnson, Kristie Johnson, Robin Johnson, Ashley Lowe, Heather Sanchez, Michael Delegatti, Charlie Delegatti, Valerie Delegatti, Annie Delegattie, Patrick McFarland, Max Johnson and Hilmar Vos; great grandson Senn Vos.
