Marianne Aucoin

Marianne Aucoin, 81, passed away Wednesday, October 12, 2011 in Abilene. A private family service is planned under the direction of Elmwood Funeral Home, 5750 HWY 277 South.

Marianne was born in Germany on July 15, 1930. She met John H. Aucoin while he was stationed in Germany during WWII and shortly after they were married. Shortly after coming to America, Marianne became an American citizen and has been an Abilene resident since 1966. She was a homemaker and enjoyed working in her yard and playing the lottery and bingo.

Survivors include her daughters, Sally Frederick and husband Jake and Mary Angermueller and husband Hans all of Abilene and two sisters of Washington.
Her husband, a daughter, Sylvia Minor and one granddaughter preceded her in death.
