Marie enjoyed traveling, taking daily walks, working on crossword puzzles, collecting bird statues and attending to her many plants and flowers. She cherished spending time with her grandchildren and greatgrandchildren. She loved animals, especially Dude and Sam. Grandma always had a story she could tell you about her life and being raised on a farm. She also had a great sense of humor and enjoyed laughing it up with others. She had a strong work ethic throughout her life and maintained her independence to the very end.
Everyone that met her felt at ease calling her Grandma. She was much more than just Grandma. She touched the hearts of many and will be missed by all that knew her.
