Marion Roberts

Marion Fay Roberts (Webb) passed at Keller Oaks Nursing Home on Wednesday May 31st 2017 after suffering from Alzheimer's for ten years. Marion was born in Qitaque, Texas, to father Marion Monroe Webb and Ona Fay Webb.

Marion graduated from Wylie high school in May 1955. In June of 1955 she married the love of her life, Mervin Samuel Roberts. They had four boys and eventually settle in Hobbs, New Mexico where Mervin opened Roberts Wholesale and Marion helped run the company. Marion was a beautiful and loving, daughter, sister, wife, mother and grandmother. After her husband passed she moved in with her son Perry and daughter-in-law Valerie and their 5 kids. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and going to their many ball games.

Marion is predeceased by her parents; Marion and Ona Webb, along with; sisters Tina and Linda Lanier, husband Mervin Roberts, son Mervin (Mervie) Roberts II, and grandson Kevin Roberts.

She is survived by her three sons and four daughter-in laws; Perry & Valerie, Gary & Tammy, Donald & Rebecca, and Sixian. As well as her fifteen grandchildren; Brad, Sammy, Kara, Kadie, Weylin, Farrin, Falon, Tiffany, Lauren, Megan, Chris, DJ, Brittney, Courtnie, Kelsie, and her five great grandchildren; Raiden, Donovan, Maximilian, Luke, and Addison,

Family and friends will gather at Elmwood Funeral Home in Abilene, Texas on Monday June 5, 2017. Services will begin at 10:00am. Interment will follow in Elmwood Memorial Park.
