Mark Alaniz

Mark Adolfo Alaniz 38 of Abilene Texas, passed away on December 23,2024. He was born on October 24, 1986 to Gloria and Ricardo Alaniz.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 9, 2025, 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Elmwood Funeral Home Chapel 5750 Hwy 277 South Abilene, Texas. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 10, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Elmwood Funeral Home 5750 Hwy 277 South Abilene, Texas.

Mark graduated from Abilene High School. He worked for moving companies in Abilene, Tx. He was employed by Coleman Allied Company where he worked for 5 years. He loved his children unconditionally. His life was devoted to them. He enjoyed watching movies, listening to music, and enjoyed playing the drums. His mother was his best friend and watched over him always.

He will be remembered for his many talents, beautiful smile, and craziness all around. All that knew Mark knew that he was such a big teddy bear, so loving. He had the biggest heart and loved everyone.

Mark is survived by his parents, Ricardo Alaniz and Gloria Alaniz of Abilene, TX; his two children, Maverick Clayton Alaniz and Maci Alice Alaniz of Abilene, TX; his two brothers, Ricardo Alaniz Jr. and Michael Alaniz of Abilene, TX; his grandmother, Myrna Alaniz of DeQueen, Arkansas; along with many extended family members and friends who will forever remember his beautiful heart full of joy and happiness.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Mary Alice Balderas, Rody Balderas, and Pedero Alaniz Jr.
