Mark Bennett

Mark Bennett passed away on Tuesday August 21, 2018. Visitation will be 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM Thursday, August 23, 2018 at Elmwood Funeral Home, 5750 Hwy 277 South. Funeral Services will be held 10:00 AM, Friday, August 24, 2018. Interment will be 2:00 Pm at the Albany Cemetery.

Mark was born on June 20, 1960 in Hobbs New Mexico to John and Donna Bennett. He was raised in Abilene graduating from Abilene High School in 1978. After high school he attended Sul Ross University and received a Bachelor of Science in Horticulture, then continued his education at Texas Tech University receiving his Bachelor in Agriculture. He has worked for many years for the States Agriculture Department (USDA) cotton division. Mark was a wonderful son, brother, uncle and friend. He will be dearly missed.
He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Donna Bennett.

Mark is survived by three brothers, John Bennett, Tim Bennett, and Joel Bennett; nieces and nephew, Joshua, Callie, Helena, and Sarah.
