Martha Price

Martha Workman Price, 77, went to be with her King on August 12, 2015 in Abilene, Texas.

A visitation will be held Friday, August 14, 2015 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Elmwood Funeral Home located at 5750 Highway 277 South. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, August 15, 2015 at Broadview Baptist Church with Pastor Wes Terry officiating. Burial will follow at Elmwood Memorial Park.

Martha was born August 11, 1938 in Star City, Arkansas to Clyde and Lois Felley Workman. She graduated from Avoca High School in 1956. She married Richard Price in Abilene in 1979 and together they owned Price Optical Service. Richard preceded her in death in 1994. Most recently, she worked as an administrator for Sherwin Williams for twenty years until her retirement this year. She was fondly referred to as "Memaw" by her co-workers. Martha was a member of Broadview Baptist Church for over 45 years. She loved crafting and spending time with her family. All those who were blessed to have been loved by her will dearly miss her. Her love was fierce.

She is survived by children, John Belshe III and wife Kay of Clyde, Texas, Jamie White of Abilene, Texas, Dianna Martinez of Abilene, Texas, Nolan Price and wife Ashli of Shawnee, Oklahoma. Her grandchildren, Glen Price and wife Courtney, Darla Price, Christine Crim, Richard Price, Blake White and wife Alicia, Aaron White and wife Katie, John Belshe IV and wife Jessica, McKenzie Laws and husband Colton, Garrett Belshe, Robert Price and Trevor Price, and numerous great grandchildren. She is also survived by brothers and sisters, Maurice Workman, Betty Jennings, Pat Lucas and husband Mike, Wanda Dawley, Mike Workman and wife LouAnn, and Charlie Workman and his wife Julie, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her husband Richard Price, son Rick Price, and daughter Carrie Belshe.
