Martin D. Loza , 62, went to be with his Lord and savior on Friday November 30th 2018. Martin was born in Abilene, Texas to parents Carmen (CJ) & Hilaria (Lala) Loza. He attended school in Abilene, Texas and was a 1975 graduate of Abilene High school. He married Kay Loza on August 3, 2001. Martin worked for several local companies throughout the years but overall his passion was roofing. Hobbies include Fishing, Dancing to Tejano music & Watching Western shows.
He was a diehard Abilene High Eagle, Dallas Cowboy & Texas Ranger fan.
Martin's love for his grandchildren was unconditional. He was involved in all activities, whether it be chauffeuring to & from school, practices, and appointments. Or simply baring a cold winter night just to catch a round of softball/ football.
Left to cherish memories are his loving wife of 18 years, Kay; Daughters, Margi Loza (Brandon), and Erica Loza; Sons, Christian Fick & Anthony Loza; Mother in law, Margarita Alva; Brother in law, Patrick Alva; Sister in law, Deborah (Darwin) Warfield.
Mother, Hilaria "Lala" Loza; Brothers, Alex, Robert, Henry (Tina), & Peter Loza.
11 Grandchildren, Including Joseph, Jassell, Joslyn, Jalicia, Tavian, Iliana, Aubriella, Iyan, Gracelyn, Raiden & Luke.
1 Great granddaughter on the way, Alizaey.
Martin had numerous aunts, uncles, cousins & friends.
He was preceded in death by his Father, "CJ" Loza; son, Sgt. Christopher D. Loza, Sisters Virginia "Gina" Loza & Abby Herrera and Father in law, Sgt. First Class Robert Alva.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday December 4, 2018 at St. Francis Catholic Church at 10:00am. 826 Cottonwood Abilene, Texas 79601. Fellowship to follow in the Parrish Hall.
