Mary Bowen

Mary Ann Bowen, 58, passed away Friday, April 30, 2010 in Abilene. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM on Wednesday at New River Ministries, 1101 Palm St. in Abilene. Arrangements are with Elmwood Funeral Home, 5750 HWY 277 South.

Mary Ann was born in Abilene on September 9, 1951 the daughter of C. B. Donald Davenport and Mary Naomi Lemens Davenport. She enjoyed ceramic painting, playing games, watching movies and she was a great cook. She was always smiling and had a giving, caring heart.

Survivors include her husband, Arthur Alexander Bowen three children, Tammy Michelle Spone of Amarillo, Carol Diane Tolbert and Henry Wayne Henderson both of Abilene a sister, Tammy Matthys of Abilene three grandchildren, Jana Trulene Spone, Nicholas Keith Henderson and Christopher Alan Henderson.
