Mary Dalton

Mary L. Dalton, 65, died Monday, August 13, 2007 in Abilene. Her funeral service with Garrett Starr officiating will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, August 16 in the Elmwood Funeral Home Chapel, 5750 HWY 277 South with burial following in Elmwood Memorial Park, Garden of Remembrance.

Mrs. Dalton was born on May 5, 1942 in Shafter, California. She married Doyle DeWayne Scotty Dalton on November 4, 1956 and began an adventurous life traveling the world as a military wife. She was a talented cake decorator and was the owner of the Heavenly Cake Shop while living in Hesperia, California. She enjoyed collecting angels and had a deep love for her family.

Survivors include her husband, Scotty of Abilene; three daughters and sons-in-law, Brenda Guy Kruger of Hesperia, California, Dawn Hugo Bonacci of Abilene, Jennifer Alan Kost of Frisco; 8 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, 1 brother and 1 sister.
