Mary Flores

Mary Louisa Flores, 90, was called to by our Lord on Wednesday, May 4, 2016. Services will be at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 826 Cottonwood, on Monday, May 9, 2016, with Father Kumar Jujjuvarapu officiating. Burial will follow at Elmwood Memorial Park, 5750 Hwy 277 South. Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. Sunday, May 8, 2016 at Elmwood Funeral Home, with Rosary at 6:30 p.m..

Mary was born in Dallas on January 2, 1926 to Oldion and Eulalia Holguin. She married Gus C Flores September 28, 1944. She retired from the Charmin Belt Factory in Dallas, Texas.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Frank "Pancho" Holguin, one sister, Maria "Mema" Holguin Barajas, her beloved husband, Gus, her son, Gus "Butch" Flores Jr., and one daughter, Ramona Banda.

Ms. Flores is survived by one daughter, Eulalia and Aurelio Holguin of Dallas, 8 grandchildren, 7 step-grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, 30 step great-grandchildren, 13 great-great grandchildren, and numerous nephews, nieces, family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Chris Jimenez, Joe Martinez, Gus Flores III, Jacob Jaramillo, Jaimito Flores, and Gus Flores IV and Carlos Rivera. Mary will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her.
