Mary Hurst

Mary Hurst, 79, passed away Friday, March 7, 2014 in Abilene. Her graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, March 13th in the McCurley Cemetery, 1400 McGee LN in Lewisville.

Mary was born in Crum, Texas on March 19, 1934. She grew up in the LewisvilleDenton area and after her marriage to Allen Hurst lived in Clyde and Port Aransas. She was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening and knitting.

Survivors include her children, Danny Hurst of Colorado City, Loretta Jennings of Queen City, Texas, Annette Davis of Queen City, Texas, Barbara Harrison and husband Nathan of Abilene, Donald Ducky Hurst and fianc Ramona Clayton of Clyde, Judy McRae and Tommy Hurst both of Aransas Pass, Texas, Michelle Hawthorne and husband Jimmy of Port Aransas, Texas and Kim Cradduck and husband Tim of Wetumka, Oklahoma 14 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and 2 greatgreat grandchildren.

Her husband, 3 children, Patsy, Billy and Nancy Hurst, 1 brother and 2 sisters preceded her in death.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to Childrens Miracle Network Hospitals, co Hendrick Medical Center, 1900 Pine St., Abilene, Texas 79601
