Mary Westfall

Mary Jane Janie Westfall, 83, passed away on Wednesday, June 11, 2008 at a local hospital.

Visitation for family and friends will be Friday June 13, 2008 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Elmwood Funeral Home, 5750 Hwy. 277 South. Funeral service will be Saturday, June l4, 2008, at 9:00 a.m. at Elmwood Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Larry Baird officiating; interment will follow in Elmwood Memorial Park.

Janie was born August 15, 1924 in Shackelford County to Joseph and Anita Hudman. She worked as a beautician, was a real estate agent, and was the manager of Saddle and Sirloin Restaurant for many years. She enjoyed fishing, bowling, and collecting dolls. Janie was a long time member of the Abundant Life Apostolic Ministries Church in Abilene.

She is survived by her husband, James Westfall; four sons and daughters-n-law, Jim and Veronica Henderson of Houston, Jack and Jamie Henderson of Stone Mountain, Georgia, Ron Henderson of Albany, Troy and Melody Henderson of Abilene; daughter and son-n-law, Carlene and Kevin Smith of Abilene; two stepsons, Jim and wife Paula Westfall of Oregon, and Rob Westfall of Arkansas; brother, Darrell and wife Jolene Hudman of Albany; sister, Jessie Lee Sikes of Austin; 15 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; l great-great grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.
