Mary Constance "Connie" Wright

Mary Constance ‘Connie’ Wright, age 79, of Abilene passed away peacefully on June 7, with the love of her life, Raymond Uranga, by her side.

Connie was born on January 15th, 1944. She graduated from Abilene Cooper High School in 1962 and went on to spend decades working in the insurance industry.  Connie worked at CBS Insurance for 32 years and took great pride in her work and commitment there. Connie’s greatest joy were her grandkids and even more so her only son. Connie will be dearly missed and always remembered.

Connie was predeceased by her parents, James and Swanee Thomson. Connie is survived by her son, Chad Wright; her brother, Mike Thomson; her niece, Paige Maricle; her grandchildren, Jimmy, Lindsay, Caitlin, and Tyler; and her five great grandchildren, Audrey, Everley, Hayes, Hayleigh, and Harper. Services will be held at Elmwood Funeral Home on July 2 at 2:00pm.”
