Masaki Mickey Ice-Killough, 77, passed away Thursday, June 25, 2009 in Abilene. Viewing and visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 PM on Tuesday, June 30th at Elmwood Funeral Home, 5750 HWY 277 South. Her funeral service will at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, July 1st at the Salvation Army Chapel, 1726 Butternut with burial following in the Texas State Veterans Cemetery of Abilene.

Mickey was born on November 6, 1931 in Kofu, Japan. She married William B. Cotton Killough on February 27, 1965 in San Angelo and has been a resident of Abilene since 1971. She was active in the Military Order of the Purple Heart Auxiliary, and the DAV Auxiliary. She enjoyed attending church at the Salvation Army where she participated in the Ladies Home League.

Survivors include her husband of 44 years, Cotton Killough of Abilene; her son, E.C. Ice and his wife LeNa of The Woodlands; her daughter, Alice Monestero and husband Tony of Tucson, Arizona; 5 grandchildren, Lyndsay, Alaina, Jaena, Jamie, and Anthony; 1 great grandchild, Deja; 3 brothers, 4 sisters and numerous nieces and nephews all from Japan.

In lieu of flowers the family would like donations made to the Salvation Army, PO Box 6929, Abilene, Texas 79606.
