Mason Wilson

Mason Glenn Wilson, of Trent, Tx, Passed away June 18th at UMC in Lubbock. Funeral service will be 10:00 AM, Saturday, June 24, 2023, in the Elmwood Funeral Home Chapel in Abilene, Tx.
Mason was born July 14, 1998, in Baton Rouge, LA, to Herbert C. and Dana D. Wilson.
He joined his dad Herbert in Heaven on Father's Day. His paternal grandparents, Herbert and Diana Wilson; Maternal grandfather, Bobby Faglie also preceded him in death.
He is survived by his mother, Dana; brother, Andrew; and grandmother, Frances Faglie; along with aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Mason was full of life, love, and laughter. He never met a stranger and always had a beautiful smile that was infectious to all. He graduated from Catholic High School in Baton Rouge and enrolled at BRCC, but after 3 weeks decided college was not for him. He went straight into welding and picked it up like he had been doing it for years. After moving to Texas in 2022, he went to work at Abilene Wrecker Service and became part of the wrecker family. He made friends with everyone he met in his own special way. In the twenty-four short years here on Earth, he touched the lives of so many people.
His favorite past time was hunting, fishing, and riding his motorcycle, but most of all, he enjoyed having a cold one with his buddies.
His heart of gold will shine bright on all the lives he has touched for eternity.
