Matilda Levinsky

Matilda Jackie Levinsky, 78, died Monday, March 15, 2010 at her home in Abilene. Her wishes were to be cremated and no service is planned at this time. Arrangements are with Elmwood Funeral Home, 5750 HWY 277 South.

Jackie was born on March 1, 1932 in Akron, Ohio the daughter of Albert Fekete and Barbara Bina Fekete. She married Victor Levinsky in Akron on September 20, 1957 and they traveled much of their married life as Victor served in both the Marines and the Navy. She was a Baptist and has lived in Abilene since 2001. In her healthier days, she loved to go dancing and she loved dressing up to go out to dinner.

Survivors include her husband, Victor of Abilene three sisters, Virginia Six, Ethel Thompson and Caroline Gilbert brothersinlaw and sistersinlaw, Joe and Nina Levinsky of Abilene and Frank and Diane Levinsky of Midland, North Carolina and numerous nieces and nephews.
