Jeanne Curry Perry

Jeanne (Curry) Perry, 79, of Abilene, TX, passed away peacefully on November 12, 2024, surrounded by family. Born in Lubbock, TX, on August 27, 1945, Jeanne moved to Abilene, TX, as a child, where she grew up surrounded by the values and community that shaped her life.

Jeanne attended Abilene Christian School from kindergarten through high school and later continued her education at Abilene Christian University.

She is survived by her loving son, Lance Perry, and his wife, Linda, of Sanger, TX. Jeanne was a proud grandmother to Landon Perry (Alex) of Chicago, IL; Lane Perry (Sarah) of Marble Falls, TX; Laken Wims (Hunter) of Houston, TX; Luke Perry (Darbi) of Merkel, TX; and Logan Perry (Sydnee) of Merkel, TX. She cherished her great-grandchildren: Eden, Londyn, Levi, Celine, Julia, and Beau.

Jeanne is also survived by her dear brother, Dr. John Curry (Donna) of Colleyville, TX, as well as several beloved nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Curtis and Pearl Curry; her brother, Curtis Curry; and her sister, Jo Ann Curry. Jeanne's enduring legacy is one of love, laughter, and devotion to family and faith.

The family invites friends and loved ones to a visitation on Friday, November 22, 2024, from 1:00PM to 2:00 PM at Elmwood Funeral Home Chapel, located at 5750 Hwy 277 South, Abilene, TX 79606. A graveside service will follow at 2:00 PM at Elmwood Memorial Park.

Jeanne's life was a testament to grace, faith, and unconditional love, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
