Michael Flores

Michael Christopher Flores, 20, our beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend who was loved by many was called home on Wednesday, January 19, 2012 in Abilene. Funeral Mass will be held at 1:30 PM on Saturday, January 21st at St. Vincent Palloti Catholic Church, 2525 Westview with interment following in the Garden of Grace at Elmwood Memorial Park.

Michael was born on January 1, 1992 in Abilene the son of Michael and Patty Flores. He attended Abilene High.

Michael was always smiling, and his smile could light up a room. He loved his music and he loved it loud. He was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. When he was born in 1992, the Cowboys won the Super Bowl just for him. He was our special New Years baby and the world celebrated his birthday.
Survivors include his parents, Michael and Patty Flores his little bucket head brother who he loved dearly, Anthony Miguel Flores his maternal grandparents, Jose and Juanita Ordonez his girlfriend, Bianca Marie Portillo, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by grandparents, Miguel Flores Jr. and Amelia H. Flores, great grandparents, Miguel G. Flores Julia L. Flores, Ignacio Jovita Hernandez and Eugenio Verastegui.

Pallbearers for the service will be Martin Verastegui, Diego Martinez, Andy Lopez, Mario Nieto Jr., Ruben DeLaGarza Jr. and Xavier Flores. Honorary Pallbearers are Joe Angel Martinez and Randy DeLaGarza.

Michael will be dearly missed.
