Mike Lochner

November 18, 1946 — May 6, 2018

Mike "Tiny" Lochner passed away May 6, 2018, after a one-week battle with a deadly cancer. He was born Nov. 18, 1946, in Kankakee, Ill., to James and Marjorie Lochner. He was a proud graduate of Graham High School and a proud member of the 1964 GHS State Championship Basketball team. He graduated
from The University of Texas in Austin where he played basketball and studied business.

Tiny and Martha married in Austin on April 1, 1967, and began their life in Dallas. After 40 years, they relocated to Arizona for the golf courses and the "dry" heat. Mike loved his many friends in both states, golfing (especially the golf whoppers told after each round over a beer), gardening, traveling and sitting on the porch with good music. He is survived by his wife, Martha; two sisters, Susan
Lochner of Albany, Wash. and Carol Lochner Pitt of Texarkana; and nephew, Graden Pitt of New Boston. Martha wishes to thank the staff at Phoenix Mayo Clinic for their kindness and unending efforts with Tiny's care.
In lieu of flowers, please make any donations to American Cancer Society or Meals on Wheels in Graham or Abilene. Tiny was a very good man who will be incredibly missed.
