Minnie LeBouef, 95, died Monday, September 22, 2008 in Abilene. Her graveside service with Mike Jones officiating will be held at 3:00 PM on Wednesday, September 24th at Cedar Hill Cemetery under the direction of Elmwood Funeral Home, 5750 HWY 277 South.
Minnie was born on July 29, 1913 in Manzanola, Colorado the daughter of Robert Martin Kelley and Celia Stewart Kelley. She grew up in Colorado where she married Altus LeBouef on January 17, 1937. She has been a resident of Abilene since 1986 and was a member of Harvest Baptist Church. Minnie was an avid reader and enjoyed making special quilts for each of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a joy to be around and always put the needs of others above her own.
Survivors include her grandchildren, Denise Shelly LeBouef of Denver, Colorado, Todd LeBouef and wife Samantha of DeKalb, Illinois and Robin Staggs and husband Allen of Abilene; great grandchildren, Ashley and Chelsea LeBouef, Sydney Staggs, Anthony Morino, Jennifer Holich, Haley and Zachary LeBouef; two daughters-in-law, Janice LeBouef and Jeannie Conrad; 4 nephews and 3 nieces.
Her husband, two sons, Gary Lee LeBouef and Roger Robert LeBouef, a grandson, David LeBouef, one brother and two sisters preceded her in death.
