Minnie Lee Moore
Minnie Lee Moore, 84, returned to her heavenly home on December 4, 2019, after a valiant battle with Alzheimerer’s. Her devotion to her family and her firm belief in God supported her in the challenges of the illness and ultimately gave her peace.
Minnie is survived by her daughter’s Vickie Williams, Linda Faye Williams, and Alice Moore; her son Author Williams; her grandchildren Mike Williams, Marissa Williams, Miracle Williams; and her great-grandchildren Jlynn, Jazmyn, Ahkari, Miles. She is preceded in death by her husband Arthur O. Williams and Ben Moore; son, Mike Williams; and her parents. She will also be missed by life-long friends who were impacted by her love.
A memorial service will be held at Mt. Zion First Baptist Church, 520 Stafford Street, Abilene, TX at 2 pm on Saturday, December 14. Visitation will be held from 12:45 pm to 1:45 pm prior to the memorial service. Reception will follow after the service. Pastor Demotis Sherman will officiate the service. Minnie’s final wishes were to be cremated and be released in a place of peace in a private family ceremony. Flowers, donations, and cards may be sent to Elmwood Funeral Home before December 14 and 1325 Daja Lane #2206, Grand Prairie, TX 75050 thereafter.
