Moses Ortiz

Moses Polanco Ortiz, 37, of Abilene passed away Friday, January 8, 2021 in Abilene.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 15, 2021 at 2 PM at the Elmwood Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Elmwood Memorial Park.

Moses was born on November 30, 1983 in Abilene, Tx to Andrew Ortiz and Oralia Polanco Ortiz. He worked for over 10 years at Hendrick Medical Center. Moses enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He was very caring and often would visit his friends if they were sick or in the hospital.

Moses is survived by two brothers Chris Polanco of Dallas, Valentine Ortiz of Snyder; three sisters, Dolores Ortiz, Andrea Ortiz, and Christina Gongora all of Abilene; Moses was a loving uncle who helped raise and care for his three nephews Jonathan Ortiz, Martin Garcia, and Nicholas Casarez all of Abilene; he has numerous nieces and nephews he loved very much.
