Msgt. Donald Musgrave Usaf (Ret.)

MSgt. Donald Ray Musgrave Sr, USAF (Ret.), 83, of Abilene passed away Wednesday, April 13, 2022, in Abilene.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday, April 19, 2022, at 11:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 837 Jeanette St, Abilene, TX 79602. Interment will follow at Texas State Veterans Cemetery at Abilene. A visitation will be held on Monday, April 18 at 6:00 PM with a rosary starting at 7:00 PM at Elmwood Funeral Home Chapel, 5750 US HWY 277 S., Abilene, TX 79606.

Donald was born in Carbondale, Illinois on March 03, 1939, to the late Robert Musgrave and Gladys Meece Musgrave. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force and retired after 23 years of service. Donald married the love of his life Lina Beliener Magbunua on December 17, 1969, in Cebu Philippines. He was a very loving, caring, and compassionate man who was willing to help anyone in need. Donald was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Donald is survived by his wife of 52 years Lina Musgrave; children, Donald Musgrave Jr. and wife Tasha, Brian Scott Musgrave, Antonia Jarvis, Naneth Melcher and husband John; grandchildren, Gabrielle, Khira, Logan, Loralye, Beau, Jackson, Lisa, John Jr; extended family and friends.

Donald was also preceded in death by his 5 siblings.
