Nancy Harrison

Nancy Yvette Harrison, 65, passed away November 8, 2012, in Abilene. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, November 10, 2012, in the Elmwood Funeral Home Chapel, 5750 Hwy 277 South.

Nancy was born on August 21, 1947, in Uvalde, TX, to parents Marshall and Ludeen Parks Hardy. Nancy graduated from Cooper High School. She married in 1966 and spent the next several years raising her children and running the household. She later attended McMurry University, where she graduated with a Psychology degree. Nancy worked for Child Protective Services for approximately ten years and was a member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church. She was an avid collector of dolls, enjoyed studying genealogy, and was always planning her next trip to Disney World.

Nancy is survived by sons, Richard Harrison and wife Robin of Abilene, David Harrison and wife Debra of San Antonio four grandsons, Chase Harrison, Hunter Harrison, Daniel Harrison, Dillon Harrison close friends, Jody and Mike McMillan, and David Figueroa.
