Natalee Armstrong

Natalee Armstrong, 90, went to be with her beloved Savior, Jesus Christ and beloved husband, Harold on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 in Abilene, Texas. A Graveside service will be 2:00 PM on Friday, February 2, 2018 in the Fort Chadbourne Cemetery.

Natalee was born on November 11, 1927 in Abilene, Texas. She attended and graduated from Abilene High School and spent one year at Hardin Simmons University. She was participating in Diversified Occupations while at Abilene High and met the love of her life, Harold Armstrong. They married November 7, 1947 and were married for almost 52 years. During those years they raised four children. Natalee took great pride in raising and caring for their children. After her children were out of the house, she joined Harold working at the family business, Abilene Plumbing Supply, and retired at 65 years old. Harold and Natalee loved their family very much and poured themselves out for them. Family was their life. Natalee was dearly loved by her children and grandchildren. She will be greatly missed.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Jessie Amis; her husband, Raymond Harold Armstong; her first born daughter, Susan Birchard.

She is survived by three daughters, Jessica Lynn (Bitsy) Templeton, Luann Blay and husband Jim, Lisbeth Gunter and husband Jeff; son in law, Mike Birchard; grandchildren, Jay Blay, Jessica Natalee Templeton, Kaely Tippen, Brazos Gunter, and SaraSavannah Gunter; and seven great grandchildren.
