Neet Lindsey Moore, 62, passed away Monday, August 25, 2014 in Abilene. Graveside funeral service will be 10:00 AM, Wednesday, August 27, 2014 in Elmwood Memorial Parks Garden of Gospels, 5750 Hwy 277 South.
Neet was born November 16, 1951 to Melvin and Eula Carroll Gunnels. She graduated from Abilene High School. She married Kenneth Moore in 1991 in Eastland, TX. Neet was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother that was full of life and had a great sense of humor. She worked for several years as a travel agent and was also a homemaker ie. wedding planner, cake decorator, seamstress, cook, hostess, hairdresser and nurse. She was a member of Saint Paul United Methodist Church and was very active in the community serving as a: Jaycette in the Abilene Jaycees, member of Beta Sigma Phi, Red Coats of Abilene Chamber of Commerce, and Pink Lady at Hendrick Medical Center.
Neet is survived by her husband, Kenneth Moore daughters, Monica Lindsey Self, and Lindi Lindsey Conally and husband Mark stepchildren, Amy Michelle Rister and husband Kurt, and Kenneth Kelly Moore grandchildren, Zachary Goins and wife Brianna, Sarah Dement and husband Jake, Zane Self, Matthew Connally, and Abba Connally.
She was preceded in death by a grandson, Lindsey Helms sister, Carol Collins brother, Melvin Bunky Gunnels and her parents.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial donations in Neets honor be made to Hendrick Hospice Care, 1682 Hickory Street, Abilene, TX 79601
