Neoma Pearl Nash, 72, passed away June 24, 2012 at her home in Ft. Worth. Visitation for family and friends will be 68 PM, Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at Elmwood Funeral Home, 5750 hwy 277 South. Funeral will be 2 PM, Thursday, June 28, 2012 in the Elmwood Funeral Home Chapel.
Neoma was born March 17, 1940 in Gorman, TX to Buck and Ruby Anderson and graduated from Gorman High School. She enjoyed competing in the local beauty pageants and was named the Gorman Peanut Queen two years running in 19571958. She married Jimmy C. Nash in 1959 and they moved to Ft. Worth where she attended Business College. She worked with Jimmy as they operated several successful entrepreneurial endeavors throughout their 43 years of marriage until his passing in 2003. She enjoyed going to the casinos and play the slots, gardening, and spending time with her family.
She is survived by two daughters, Kelly Nash of Ft. Worth, Debra Nash of Ft. Worth one grandson, Hunter Ashton Smith two stepgrandsons, Justin and Brandon Smith three brothers, Butch Anderson, Shorty Anderson, Scott Marble one sister, Pat Rojas and several nephews, nieces and cousins.
