Noe Davila, 76, of Abilene passed away Wednesday January 21, 2015 in Abilene.

A funeral service will be held on Monday January 26 at 2:00 PM at Elmwood Funeral Home Chapel with Kevin Peters officiating. Burial will follow at Elmwood Memorial Park. A visitation with the family will be held Sunday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.

Noe was born on September 25, 1938 in Raymondville, Texas to Roger Davila and Consuelo Anzaldua Davila Rodriguez. He met the love of his life, Shirley Brown and they were married in Marietta, Oklahoma on October 1, 1957. Noe joined the Air Force and served for almost 21 years working as an avionics technician until he retired. He also finished his Master's Degree from ACU in Mathematics. Noe taught at several of Abilene's schools including Abilene High School until he retired from teaching after 28 years. He was a man of faith and family and will be dearly missed.

Noe is survived by his wife, Shirley; children, Chris Davila, Teresa Lervig, Kerry Phillips, Stephen S. Davila, Kalena Aldridge; his mother, Consuelo Rodriguez; 6 grandsons; 1 granddaughter; 2 great grandsons, 2 great granddaughters; 2 brothers; 2 sisters; 6 half-brothers; 2 half-sisters.

Noe was preceded in death by his father, Roger Davila; stepmother, Ella Flores; brother, Rudy Rodriguez.
