Owena Mcghghy

Owena (Austin) Mcghghy 78, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Sunday, October 4, 2015 in Sugarland, Texas.

A grave side service will be held on Wednesday, October 7 at 10:00 am at the Elmwood Memorial Park in Abilene, Texas.

Owena was born on April 29, 1937 to Alvin and Katherine Austin in Tampa, Florida. She married Edward McGhghy. They lived in Florida, Alaska, Germany, Abilene - Texas and settled in Houston.

Owena was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by son David McGhghy and spouse Jody of Temple, Texas; daughter Donna Vogel and spouse Emanuel of Houston, Texas; son Daniel McGhghy of Houston, Texas; grandchildren; Ted Vogel and spouse Carli of Friendswood, Texas, Duane McGhghy and spouse Cortney of Temple and David McGhghy of Temple, and four great- grandchildren, Austin McGhghy, Chloe McGhghy, Reagan Vogel & Brooks Vogel. Her brother Alvin Austin and spouse Samantha and many other relatives.
